Cecelia Marshall, an actress and Applied Theatre facilitator, dedicates her craft to empowering migrants and refugees, particularly youth, through storytelling and performance. Raised in Portland, Oregon, her journey spans ten countries, nurturing a passion for community building.

A University of Arizona graduate in Journalism and International Studies, Cecelia's commitment to marginalised voices led her to Cambodia, reporting while producing impactive theatre for local causes. Her global pursuits extended with a Master's in Migration and Intercultural Relations, specialising in Applied Theatre with youth refugees.

Her acting repertoire spans theatre, film, voice-overs and commercials, with notable roles including Janet Weiss in Rocky Horror Picture Show, Marianne in Sense and Sensibility, and Juliet in Shakespeare's classic. She also starred in Zinnie Harris’ Further than the Furthest Thing as Rebecca, Aileen in Death in High Heels and multiple iterations of V Ensler’s Vagina Monologues.

Cecelia's acting prowess shines as she breathes life into characters, exemplified in her recent sell-out play, Cringe Effect, addressing societal pressures.

A Drama Therapy Certification in 2022 deepens her dedication to aiding marginalized youth.

Founder of Between Stages e.V. in Hamburg, Germany, Cecelia continues to empower migrant and local youth, leaving a meaningful impact on and off stage.
