Richard Curnow

Actor / Writer

Richard trained as a curative educational teacher at St Christopher’s Rudolf Steiner School Bristol, going on to teach children with special needs for six years. He then trained as an actor at The Birmingham School of Speech and Drama from 1981-1984.

Since then Richard has worked extensively in theatre, radio and has many years experience in the field of Theatre in Education for companies such as: The English Shakespeare Company, Hereford Courtyard Theatre, Shakespeare Unlimited, Gazebo TIE Company and The Young Shakespeare Company.
He still works as a jobbing actor in regional theatre and the corporate sector.

As a writer Richard has written three one-actor shows and an Arts Council Funded project, Naming the View. He has a degree in Literature from the Open Univeristy and is currently working on other plays to be produced.
