Jules Hobbs

Bard Heads

Jules Hobbs became a professional actor in 1983 touring nationally and working in Europe. In 1996 she joined The English Shakespeare Company (education department) and remained with the company for four years until its closure (nothing to do with Jules despite the rumours) and re-emergence as The Young Shakespeare Company playing everything from Peter Quince to Lady Macbeth. As a freelance drama practitioner she has worked for The Courtyard Theatre Hereford, Chipping Norton Theatre, The Watermill, Newbury, Act On Info and Lynx Theatre in Education ‘Play In A Day’ for which she also writes. In 2007 she co-founded FINDING THE WILL working predominantly in primary and special schools. Most recently she played Kate in ‘Naming The View’, a new play exploring the powerful and relevant theme of Coercive Control. Jules works with bigger children in the corporate sector as a freelance business actor and facilitator.
