A Common Interest

Although divorced for several years, John and Jill were still living together in their home. They continued to have very little in common and were never in at the same time. However, tonight was different, as they had both agreed to invite their new partners round at the same time for cocktails before going out. John rushed to open the door as his new partner was always early and smiled broadly at Belle. Jill came into the hallway and exclaimed,

“Oh hello Anna, goodness, you’re early”.

“Hello John and Jill” said Annabelle, “it seems you do both have a common interest.”
