Christmas Morning
Squeals echo about town, as children, having long outgrown the morning glory of their pyjama firesides, take to the streets to parade their merry treasure only to lose themselves in the spontaneity of a snowball fight.
A girl is armed with a teddy bear; her brother, a new bike; while their neighbours take turns pulling one another up and down on a hand-crafted toboggan - Careful not to run into the little boy who stands in the centre of it all. In his palm - his gift this year: A crumbly lump of coal frosted hard. He aims for your head.
