She's Outback

When two year old Jenna wandered off, Kayleigh and Nick blamed each other, feared she was lost forever. With searing heat, venomous wildlife and the shear vastness of the outback there was little hope for her safe return.

‘How could you let her out of your sight?’ Kayleigh sobbed.

‘I told you I was too busy to look after her,’ Nick wailed.

Kayleigh glared at him.

‘They’re all out looking for her love,’ he said more kindly, ‘we can’t give up hope.’

Nick’s phone rang, he picked up, listened.

‘Get the dog biscuits out,’ he called to Kayleigh, ‘she’s coming home.’
