The Greatest War

World War 3, renamed The Greatest War by those who observed it, was the most aggressive in human history. Fought largely at a distance, technological advancement meant greatest destruction with minimal physical effort: the species effectively wiped itself out in a matter of months. As human extinction became inevitable the rest of life clung to existence. Nature found a way, as it so often does, and the distantly observing sentient life finally provided assistance to those more deserving species, thus helping to return planet Earth to the natural utopia it once was, harmony and balance once more restored. Peace at last.
