The One by Janet Bright

Could this be the one? Would it be worth it? Her hand reached out hovered and withdrew. Doubt flooded her mind. She gripped her bottom lip tightly between her teeth until she almost felt she could draw blood. No. Not again. She gave her head a sharp shake and clenched both fists into her side tightly. This time it was right; she could not do it again; she couldn’t face having to go through it all again. Now or never. Hesitantly her right arm reached out again, her fingers stretching towards the object of her desire. Her hand stopped. Not yet.
